Austin has a proven track record in managing business and cultural change whilst also implementing new strategies to increase sales, improve retention and meet business objectives. During Austin's time in retail management and hospitality, he has worked in flagship and high-profile stores, leading successful teams, improving performance, increasing profit, and delivering operational change across various business areas, including store turnarounds and refurbishments.

For the past 5 years Austin has been in Learning and Development, latterly working as a divisional and regional training manager. He has managed the training needs of employees across the UK in retail, hospitality and healthcare sectors, driving culture and process change, improving consumer experiences, brand awareness, and supporting senior management to drive sales and KPIs. Austin is highly motivated to get the best out of people by using training and coaching to develop their skills and knowledge. Austin enjoys building positive working relationships and uses effective communication skills to encourage the sharing of ideas and experiences to bring about successful change.

In his spare time Austin can be found enjoying time with his family, travelling often, experiencing and exploring different cultures, languages, people, and cuisine! Austin was also a keen sportsman with a particular interest in cricket, however, now spends his time supporting local teams rather than playing.

Customer testimonial

Mel really helped provide insight and offered points of difference that can help me in a professional setting. I enjoyed learning more about the ways body language and tone can have an impact. The eye accessing cues were also really interesting.

W.F , Tiny Rebel

My favourite part of the course was the very engaging trainers.

Kyle Loughrin , AES Global Ltd

Great courses, trainers had actual expertise from the field the field they were teaching in rather than just teaching from a text book.

Adrian Welch Head of Sales, Coastal Group

Alison was very knowledgeable and engaging. I liked the analysis of our own leadership style and thinking about how to improve our effectiveness score.

V.K , Equals Money

I think the day was very well structured and planned. I felt like the time flew by!
I enjoyed all of it and find it very interesting. The perception cycle was good, doing the DISC Analysis and learning about the Ego States was also informative.
