Charlie joined Impellus in July 2021. As a Sales Executive, Charlie’s role is not only commercially integral to the business, but also crucial to our clients, as he works to understand their company values and training requirements.
As one of the first points of contact for our customers, Charlie’s goal is to find the most effective training solution which will deliver the intended results for the individuals and companies we work with.
One of Charlie’s key values is motivation, which is never missing within the Impellus sales team. Sales targets are always a motivating factor for Charlie, but he believes nothing beats a delegate’s positive feedback after completing a course he recommended.
Among many sporting passions, Charlie enjoys playing golf and spent the early part of his sales career promoting and selling luxury golf holidays, an experience which has enabled him to refine his commercial skills, as well as seeing some amazing places.

I found David Ross's ability to convey and communicate his experience and the course content to be excellent. He was engaging, approachable, and facilitated an open forum and learning experience.
Really enjoyed the course especially the Organisation Leadership and Strategic Thinking and Decision Making courses, which I have been able to use and contribute within our business already.
I thought it was a really good balance of learning, information shared whilst being able to practise what we we being taught. Ken was very approachable and a great teacher. It was not as daunting as I thought it was going to be. The workbook will be a very useful resource.
Very well presented- Mel really knew her stuff! It also helps that Mel is charismatic so the day flew by. Most enjoyable was that I could actually take away something of value- the adult ego state or as I like to call it- "Adulting". This will definitely be a conscious choice to make this a starting point for my work communications moving forwards so that it eventually becomes the norm for me.
There was a good flow to the day and David (Ross) was good at encouraging conversations, which is difficult in an online environment. I found the leadership style questionnaire useful - it confirmed my thinking on where I need to focus my efforts and gave me a framework to do that.
