Lucy joined Impellus in March 2016. Initially, Lucy was onboarded as a Lead Generation Executive and has since helped to shape our sales function as our Sales Manager, through developing new internal sales and marketing processes. Lucy’s role now oversees the entire Sales and Account Management function within the company.
Lucy is responsible for ensuring the Sales team can perfectly match our clients’ training requirements with our range of Leadership, Management and Sales training programmes.
With an excellent record in sales, gained in the business-to-business media sector, Lucy brings a wealth of experience and commercial skills to the team.

We particularly enjoyed learning how to choose the appropriate leadership style according to the situation. We were also able to apply what we had learnt from the courses immediately to our day-to-day work, for example in the Presentation Skills & Techniques course we learnt how to create and present memorable content to engage an audience who have mixed learning styles.
I most enjoyed the "Delegation and Time Efficiency" module which helped me with self-reflection and new approach in my team.
I found the Leaderships module very interesting and has assisted with my progression as a manager and how to lead my team - the tutors are very knowledgeable and the breakout rooms were a great way to listen to everybody's opinions and understand each other’s way of thinking.
Great to see a basis in research/theory, and then a very clear way of applying that to everyday work situations. The mix of presentation, interaction, small groups, and individual tasks was helpful to process information in different ways.
The course was very interactive, which keeps you engaged and helps you to make the most of the things taught, rather than just passively absorbing them. David Ross was very friendly and knowledgeable.
The breakout rooms were really helpful for learning, everyone came from different companies/experience levels/team structures and it was important to hear that the challenges are broadly similar. Gave us ample opportunity to learn from one another, and David (James) was great at consolidating that in the bigger group.
